2.6. Accessing the elicited data

  1. By clicking on the “pie chart” button, the researcher can access the responses and statistics of this survey at any time while the survey is active.
  2. Firstly, the user can choose if all answers or only completed ones will be displayed. Secondly, the “Output options” (display of full-text answers, automatic display of graphs and the output format) can be selected. The “Response filters” section below can be used to choose only individal questions and their responses.

Eventually, LimeSurvey processes the data. The responses will be analyzed according to their question type. For any kind of multiple choice questions, the application will give the absolute number of informants choosing a particular option, as well as the relative percentage. The standard deviation, minimum, maximum and the average will be provided for all numerical question types. In addition, the researcher is also able to export the responses to applications such as SSPS by clicking on the respective button in the dashboard section.
