4.1. Simple Data

The following parts aim to give you a little introduction on how to enter data into the SplitsTree4 software. In order to achieve this goal Part 1 (Data Input) shows how to use the SplitsTree4 syntax to create a small diagram. Part 2 (Data Analysis) of this chapter will then help you understand diagrams and show what SplitsTree4 is capable of and how these capabilities can be used to your advantage.
