Exercise: spotting interaction

In order to do this exercise, you must run the sample data file, entitled 'Nepean.Tok' (http://nlp.stanford.edu/~manning/courses/ling236/handouts/Nepean-win.tkn) through the variable rule program until it presents you with a result file as described above. Now, do cross-tabs of each of the factor groups and try to answer the following questions:



See what happens if you run the program on your data including the factor groups that you believe are interacting with each other. If there is evidence for interaction then try to determine where it can be identified within the regression and appropriately re-configure your data using the condition file.
