Результатив и перфект в сербском и русском языках

Stefan Stojanović’s research has been focused on expressing the perfect and the resultative meaning in Russian and Serbian. His doctoral thesis was titled Functional-semantic field of the perfect in Russian and Serbian languages (2017). 

The talk will adress the following questions: 

- the relationship of the lexical semantics of the base verb and the ability of its passive participle to be used as an objective resultative

- the types of results expressed by the perfect and the resultative

- the basic meaning of the perfect tense in Serbian and its relation to other past tenses capable of expressing perfect meaning, namely  the aorist and the truncated perfect

- locative resultative constructions
