Join us for the 14th CIPA Summer School from May 20-25, 2025, at the historic Heiligenkreuz-Gutenbrunn Castle, just an hour from Vienna in Austria. Young scholars, emerging professionals and all who wish to broaden their horizons are invited to participate in this week-long, hands-on experience. Under the lead of the Department for the History of Architecture and Building Archaeology of the University of Technology Vienna, and in close cooperation with ICOMOS, ISPRS, CHNT ICOMOS Austria, and supported by Time Machine Organisation within the frame of the currently running Digital Europea project “3DBigDataSpace“, this transformative school provides hands-on training in advanced heritage documentation and risk assessment techniques, such as photogrammetry and laser scanning. Participants will engage directly on-site, analysing high-resolution 3D datasets to uncover structural vulnerabilities and explore innovative conservation strategies. This unique opportunity invites heritage enthusiasts to collaborate across disciplines in an extraordinary setting. Upon completion, attendees will be awarded a certificate equivalent to 3 ECTS credits. Spaces are limited, so seize this chance to secure your spot!
