The University of Trento is a middle-sized, research-oriented university located in Trentino, an Alpine region in the north-eastern part of Italy. Trento is a picturesque city with aproximately 100,000 inhabitants, surrounded by the Dolomites, numerous lakes, forests and vineyards.
