We would like to inform you that the University of Bamberg will be closed for the Christmas holidays from December 23, 2024, to January 6, 2025.

During this period, both emails and our phone hotline will not be monitored or processed.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to addressing your inquiries when regular services resume on January 7, 2025.

Application for a Master's program

We are pleased that you are interested in a Master's program at the University of Bamberg. On this page you will find all important information about the application process.

This is how the application works in general:

 

Please state the following when sending your documents: “Documents, value 0€, customs duties to be paid by the sender”
We cannot accept the documents if customs duties are incurred.

If you need a visa to enter Germany, please do not enrol before you have obtained the visa or can obtain it by the start of the lectures.

Important notice: Your application documents will be digitized and destroyed after we checked the certifications! Please do not send us any original documents!

If you are applying to more than one master's program, a single set of certified documents is sufficient.

For questions regarding acommodation, German authorities (city hall registration etc.) and individual topics that do not concern the application process you can contact the Master Welcome Center.
