First Semester Introductory Days (EET) Information Systems and Applied Computer Sciences

During the EET, the student council will upload further event information, PowerPoint slides and materials for further reading on the student council's EET pages.

Welcome to the first year introductory days at the faculty WIAI!

Dear first semester students,

During the first semester introductory days (EET), a variety of events are offered to make your start into your studies at the University of Bamberg as easy as possible. The most important event is the subject introduction with the timetable tutorial, which is offered for every degree programme. This tutorial should be attended and helps to start the first weeks of your studies in an organised and stress-free way. It is recommended to attend as many on-site events as possible in order to get the best possible start to your studies.

Tips on travel and food during the first semester introductory days

There are only a very limited number of free, temporary parking spaces at ERBA (except for the paid parking garage). It is recommended to come to the university by bike, on foot or by bus. Throughout the EET week, the ERBA cafeteria will be open, where you can buy sandwiches, snacks and more. During the lecture period, the ERBA cafeteria has a hot meal (often, but not always vegetarian) every day from Monday to Thursday. There is also a bakery and sushi, among other things, near the university.
