Joint workshop of FNA-funded projects at the DZA Berlin

Two projects funded by the Forschungsnetzwerk Alterssicherung (FNA) at the German Centre of Gerontology (DZA) exchanged ideas during a two-day workshop. Prof. Dr. Katja Möhring, Clara Overweg and Dr. Andreas Weiland (all Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg) were present for the project “Lebenslauf, Vermögen und Alterseinkommen in Ost- und Westdeutschland (AGE-WEALTH)”. Dr. Ulrike Ehrlich, Dr. Nadiya Kelle, Dr. Laura Romeu Gordo and Alberto Lozano Alcántara (all DZA) represented the project “Familiäre Pflege in der späten Erwerbsphase und ihre Konsequenzen für die Alterssicherung”.

There was an exchange of information on the results of the analyses to date, in addition to the work with the SOEP-RV dataset, which both projects draw on. Plans for joint research collaborations were also discussed, combining aspects of both projects.
