New appointment to the professorship from 1st August 2024

Dr. Denis Messig has represented the Chair of Science Education for the past two years. We would like to thank him very much for his enriching work. During this time, he has driven forward many projects and enriched our team with his expertise. We wish him all the best for his return to teaching and continued success! 

From 1 August 2024, Prof. Dr. Yelva Larsen will take over the professorship. She is a long-time employee in the didactics of natural sciences. For her, education is a prerequisite and component of sustainable development. Her research and teaching activities focus on combining knowledge with concrete options for shaping social action.
