Conference, exchange and transfer in Bamberg: Wild bee project presented at ESD conference

Sophia Hochrein presented the wild bee project at the DGfE conference “Areas of tension in education for sustainable development and the increasing differentiation of the field”. Maurice Kalweit contributed to the subsequent workshop on “Visions for ESD in teacher training” from a student perspective.

From September 18.-20. 2024, scientists from the field of education for sustainable development (ESD) discussed areas of tension in ESD and the increasing differentiation of the field at the DGfE conference in Bamberg at the Otto Friedrich University. In the context of non-formal/informal learning environments, citizen science and playful approaches, the DiKuLe wild bee project was presented by Sophia Hochrein. 

Following the conference, visions for ESD in teacher training were discussed from the perspective of various stakeholder groups in the form of a transfer café. Maurice Kalweit took part in this as a driving force in the role of student teachers.
