The Second Most Popular University in Germany

The web-based rating platform stexx.eu – Student Experience Exchange – confirms the University of Bamberg’s high standing among international students. The website, which was created by the European “Study Portals” team in 2011, is a place where students can rate and share their experiences at universities abroad, and the ratings for Bamberg have been excellent; among German universities, the University of Bamberg has the second highest rating and has earned the “Silver Award 2013” for international student satisfaction.

The platform allows students to rate categories like studies and professional development, the city and culture, social life, university services and facilities, as well as their overall impression. Student reviewers gave the University of Bamberg particularly high marks in the “studies” and “city and culture” categories, but they also praised the organisation of the university and its outstanding library and research facilities. Bamberg’s average rating is 9.5 out of 10, second only to the University of Cologne.

But the high rankings do not stop at the German border: in the stexx.eu international comparison, Bamberg was rated among the top 20 European universities.
