Short biography

Maybrit Wächter is a PhD student and has been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Macroeconomics and International Finance since January 2024.

Maybrit Wächter completed a Bachelor's degree in International Relations at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Kleve. She then went on to study for a Master's degree in Global Studies at Danube University Krems and European Economic Studies at Otto Friedrich University Bamberg, graduating with an M.Sc. in December 2023.

Research interests: Monetary policy, green finance, central banking, EU, inequality
