Your library card will be issued in the selected branch library. You can collect it there by presenting your identity card (or passport and proof of the residence, the so called “Meldebestätigung” or “Meldebescheinigung”).
You can collect your library card according to the location during our opening hours (branch library 3 and 4), respectively only during the day (branch library 1, 2 and 5). It is available for pick up for eight weeks. Please note that cards applied for in the evening or at weekends will be issued on the following days and at the beginning of the following week.
Your library card is valid for all branch libraries. With the card you can use all our services for non-university members. You are welcome to additionally register your library card in the State Library Bamberg.
