Dear new students,

The University Library welcomes you to Bamberg and wishes you every success in your studies. We offer you literature, textbooks, assistance with finding information, workstations, scanners and printers, WLAN ... and much more.

During the introductory week (14-17 April 2025) you can take part in short guided tours of the branch libraries or an introduction to the library for Master's students.

In der Einführungswoche (14. bis 17. April 2025) können Sie an Kurzführungen durch die Teilbibliotheken oder an einer Bibliothekseinführung für Master-Studierende teilnehmen. 

  • Guided tours
    • GuK & HuWi: Tuesday 15 April and Wednesday 16 April at 11:00, 14:00 and 16:00 and Thursday 17 April at 11:00 and 12:00
    • WIAI: Tuesday 15 April at 13:00 ...or together with your tutors
    • SoWi: Tuesday 15 April or Wednesday 16 April with your tutors
  • Library tours for Masters students
    • GuK & HuWi: Thursday 17 April at 14.15 (meeting point: in front of the entrance to TB4)
    • WIAI: Wednesday 16 April at 13.00 (English) and 13.30 (German)
    • SoWi: Tuesday 15 April or Wednesday 16 April with your tutors
