Maximilian Raab, M.Sc.

About the Person

Maximilian Raab has been a research associate at the Chair of Business Informatics, specifically Industrial Information Systems, at the Otto-Friedrich University of Bamberg since April 2017, where he previously completed his Master's degree in Business Informatics. In his Master's thesis, Maximilian Raab conducted a quantitative study on the factors influencing crowdfunding success. Prior to his Master's studies, he worked as a software developer at the software company DATEV e.G., where he also gained experience during his Bachelor's and Master's programs.

Research Interests

Maximilian Raab's research focuses on the investigation of crowdfunding platforms. His research interests include the examination of the factors that influence investment behavior, with a particular emphasis on affective and cognitive aspects, as well as the design and implementation of these factors on crowdfunding platforms.
