The StayTuned funding program was designed within the framework of the “Hochschulvertrag” in the central field of action of gender equality and equal opportunities as well as sustainability and climate protection for female postdoctoral researchers at the University of Bamberg.

StayTuned offers financial support to female postdoctoral researchers at the University of Bamberg for hiring a student assistant. The program is intended to help overcome challenges during difficult phases and address the so-called "leaky pipeline." In particular, female postdoctoral researchers who are particularly burdened due to private circumstances or unexpected challenges during their research phase can receive temporary relief through StayTuned. 

StayTuned provides temporary financial assistance to female postdoctoral researchers at the University of Bamberg for hiring a student assistant. The student assistant will undertake tasks related to the researcher's academic qualification work. Grants of up to €1,000 can be applied for, and reapplication is possible.
To make the best use of limited funds, it is recommended to increase the working hours of a student assistant already employed at the chair.

Eligible for funding are applications from female postdoctoral researchers employed in the faculties and research institutions of the University of Bamberg who are pursuing a qualification goal. Since the funding is transferred to the chair's account, the approval of your supervisor is required.
