Project Description

KLARO-KI aims to develop innovative concepts for low-threshold and illustrative teaching of skills in dealing with artificial intelligence (AI) for adults without an academic or technical background. Various information channels will be used: Informative texts in magazines (such as member magazines of employee associations), short videos and posts on various social media platforms, as well as tangible interactive technologies offered at specific events (such as summer parties of employee associations). The aim is to focus on various aspects of AI that are relevant to everyday life with a focus on current generative language models such as ChatGPT or Bing Chat.

Research focus of the University of Bamberg:

  • Development of a didactic concept aimed at overcoming the barriers to understanding AI solutions.
  • Implementation of the didactic concept in the form of accessible information and educational materials.
  • Publicly effective use of interactive demonstrators to vividly experience AI information and discuss it with friends and families.
  • Investigation of effectiveness using quantitative and qualitative methods.

Student Projects
