Professor Dr. Cornelia Kristen is interested in supervising doctoral students in the fields of migration and integration, social inequality, sociology of education, and other areas related to her research interests.

Her research focuses on educational decisions and educational inequality as well as the integration of immigrants and ethnic stratification. In addition, she examines the causes and consequences of ethnic segregation.
