// DISSERTATION PROJECT
Political Behaviour of the 1st and 2nd generation of immigrants
The political behavior of immigrants is often shaped by diverse experiences, cultural backgrounds, and socio-economic circumstances. Many immigrants engage actively in civic duties, participating in local elections, advocating for policy changes, and forming coalitions to address issues that resonate within their communities. Their engagement is a testament to the importance of inclusive political representation and the pursuit of a more equitable society. Yet, a thorough investigation of their political behavior is missing. Therefore, this dissertation project deals with a wide range of the determinants and consequences of the political behavior of immigrants, especially in comparison with the majority society.
