// DISSERTATION PROJECT
Women's and Men's Policy Priorities and Comparison of the Parliamentary Behaviour of Women and Men MPs in the Czech Republic:
The research project consists of a case study of the Czech politics and an analysis of the topics and policies women and men prioritize and MPs devote time to, in order to access the ways, they behave in politics. Firstly, the project aims to identify women's issues in politics without any preliminary bias about what policies could be of higher interest for women MPs, then men MPs. Secondly, MPs' differentiation to committees, commissions and tracking of their parliamentary questions according gender will allow us to identify their engagement, interest, and support for policies. It is built on Anne Phillips' (1998) theory of politics of presence and focuses on women and men as representatives in politics. Moreover, the project uses mix-methods research design to answer the main research questions.
