We announce with sadness that one of our senior members, Prof Susanne Rässler, passed away on 29 August 2018. She was a distinguished professor of statistics and econometrics as well as a warm, empathetic individual. Our thoughts and deep sympathy go out to her family, friends and close colleagues.
